A Day Trip to Ubud with a Lovely Couple from Vietnam
The morning started with cloudy weather, which made me a little hesitant at first to begin the trip. But after about an hour’s drive from Canggu, we arrived in Ubud to find the weather bright and clear. a perfect start to our day.
Our first stop was Monkey Forest, a beautiful tropical sanctuary covering around 3 hectares, home to thousand of long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis), which are native to Bali. We spent about an hour exploring the forest and enjoying the playful monkeys and lush green surroundings.
Next, we visited Ubud Palace (Puri Saren Ubud), where we stopped for lunch and soaked in the vibrant atmosphere of Ubud town. Afterward, we continued our journey to the famous Tegalalang Rice Terrace, about 45 minutes away. My clients took some great photos and enjoyed a fun zipline ride overlooking the beautiful rice fields, a truly exciting experience
Our next destination was Tirta Empul Holy Water Temple, a sacred historical site and UNESCO World Heritage
Finally, we headed to Tegenungan Waterfall in Kemenuh Village. Surrounded by lush tropical forest, this stunning waterfall was the perfect place to relax and cool off. We took a swim and enjoyed the refreshing water and peaceful natural scenery before heading back.
It was a wonderful day exploring Ubud’s beauty, culture, and nature — truly an unforgettable experience for my guests from Vietnam.
